I Am David Assignment
For section 1, I have completed one map, two journal entries, two pictures/photographs of characters, and two quotations. I apologize for any spelling or grammar errors on my blog, please notify me if you see any and I will change them as soon as I can. For section 2, I have read over all of my posts, and completed and posted a five-word glossary. I have already responded to Philip's and Dima's pictures posts.

ReplyDeleteHi Erica,
ReplyDeleteI've read your thoughts on I Am David and you definitely have a valid and understandable point of view. I, on the other hand, found David's deep and solid sense of self, his determination and resourcefulness to survive and reach his destination. It gave me pause to think of what it mean to be human and wonder at life. I agree the book was long on contemplation and short on action. I promise no more conflict novels. You may have enjoyed "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" more. You could always read one of the classic war novels (All Quiet on the Western Front) written from the point of view of German soldiers in the trenches of WWI and translated from German. Just kidding. I loved it but won't inflict it on you.
Cheers Ms B.
Hi again. Sorry about the sentence fragment. I should have proofread.
